God is bigger and better and closer than we can imagine... nothing in creation “just happened.” God made it all. And the wonderful truth is that grace is the only way to have a relationship with Him. Jesus is God showing himself to us. The Bible is God’s perfect guidebook for living. Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through us now.

The church is to serve people like Jesus served people. Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible—a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.

Our city is a marketplace of ideas, with a vibrant arts community, a meeting place for people of many nations, academically world famous but, perhaps more importantly, it is simply a place that thousands of ordinary men and women, boys and girls call home.

Who we are, and what we believe, inform how we live in the time and place God has placed us.

Beyond Sunday services, City Church follows the biblical model of getting together midweek in Growth Groups to share lives together in the mission God has given us. We are joining God in the restoration of all things by completely giving ourselves to a revolution of love. Our desire is to bring hope and justice to our neighbours and our world.
