The right way to read the Bible (and how so many of us get it wrong)

‘And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.’ Luke 24:27 NIV

There are ways of reading the Bible that lead you to the wrong conclusions.

  • “Don’t listen to the Devil’s lies” Adam and Eve teach us.

  • “You can stand alone against an evil world” Noah proclaims.

  • “You must be willing to sacrifice what is most precious to you” Abraham and Isaac implore.

This misguided way of reading the Bible essentially reduces it to a series of life-lessons. You can be tempted to think of these characters as either heroes (to emulate) or villains (to avoid).

But the Bible is committed to help us understand Jesus, what he came to do and why.

This series of articles and videos is designed to help you deepen your joy in Jesus and the glorious good news of his life changing story, so that you can be strengthened in Him and keep your eyes on the one who loves you!
