Youth.

City Church Youth exists to disciple and encourage young people aged 11-18 to grow in their understanding and experience of Jesus. We aim to be a place where you can ask questions, experience God’s grace and Holy Spirit, and build lasting relationships with others your own age. We have a lot of fun!

Our Youth Leaders, Luke and Beth, bring several years of experience, along with lots of energy. When not leading youth sessions, Luke works as an engineer and Beth works as a nurse.

What's on?

Younger youth (year 7-9), are meeting online on Sundays from 11.15am to 12.30pm (i.e. after the main church meeting). An email link is sent out each week. There is a combination of some fun and games as well as teaching from the Bible and prayer together. This term we'll be particularly focusing on the story of the Bible, specifically some of the promises in the Old Testament and what they tell us about Jesus and his good news in our lives.

Older youth (year 10+), are currently meeting face-to-face (not literally!) at Brickfields on Sunday evenings from 6.30pm - 8pm, though this may change according to COVID guidelines. We are following social distancing guidelines, so you'll need to bring a mask. These evenings have time to look at the Bible and pray together as well as some time for games and socialising too.

For the first half of the term, we're spending each week looking at a big question about faith and Christianity.

We will spend the second half of the term looking at some key truths about God, His world, and how He interacts with us (or what theologians call 'doctrine'!) and thinking about how these truths affect our relationship with God, ourselves and others.
