City Church Youth exists to disciple and encourage young people aged 11-18 to grow in their understanding and experience of Jesus. We aim to be a place where you can ask questions, experience God’s grace and Holy Spirit, and build lasting relationships with others your own age. We have a lot of fun many activities such as youth worship band evenings, socials and one to one meet ups!

What's on?

Sundays
Youth meet on Sundays during The Evening Service from 5pm. After some worship the Youth head out to the Annexe building where they move to their different groups. We split into two age groups:
​
Younger Youth for those in school years 7-9
​
And
​
Older Youth for those in year 10-13.
​
A regular evening will have some games, a time to study a passage in the Bible or explore a big topic together and give space to pray and sometimes worship together. The aim is to have fun, get to know each other and get to know God better.

Socials

Throughout the academic year we will have a number of special events take place. This may involve
doing something fun within the church or heading somewhere local for games, snacks, and time to
socialise together. It is a chance for the youth team and the young people to get together, build
community and hang out outside of our regular services. As well as other things we have going on,
these are great opportunities to invite friends along.

Newday
​
Each Summer we attend Newday, a massive youth camping event over 5 days at Norfolk
Showground. Great teaching, awe-inspiring worship, sports, gigs, workshops, exhibitions, fun cafés
and inflatables are some of the great things we experience there. This is the absolute highlight of the
year in our youth calendar! These days are full of quality time as we hangout with each other and in
God's presence. Details for this get sent throughout the year but if your youth are interested in going
this year, dont hesitate to get in touch.
